I scrolled through twitter, looking for the perfect twitter stiry to write about. And then. I found Emily's: the first twitter story I read through. It was about her attempting to get lunch earlier in the year. This was a very good, engaging twitter story. It felt relatively long (and maybe it actually was). It was very humorous, as it should be since it was on twitter (because people go to twitter for entertainment). It was also so good because it was so relatable since I also live in Wildwood. I could relate to the locations she was talking about in her story. Her story was also engaging because of so cringey it was. It made you want to scream out loud "TURN LEFT!" At the end, I found myself especially cringing with the terribly anticlimactic ending of the place she finally found her way to was closed for the day. I also like the way she segmented the twitter story. She did it in a way that was not confusing or hard to read. It flowed very well. The ideas were also very good. She chose a great story to write that anyone from FSU would be entertained reading. Her words, as being on twitter, were small ad simplistic as to keep the readers engaged and not bored. Since twitter is expected to be aplace for entertainment, if you make the stories too complex or high level, people on twitter will become disintersted and move on to do something else. It also helped that Emily seemed to be so into her own story. When people are into their own writing, it makes it so much more enjoyable to read. WHen they don't care about what they're writing, it makes it boring because it feels like they didn't put any effort into it. It's a good thing Emily did care about her twitter story.
