For this week's mandatory twitter assignment, I followed Wilde Agency. The Wilde Agency is a group that does research on human behavior. Their research includes everything from marketing strategy to artificial intelligence to biometrics to persuasion. Most of their acount is them interacting with other people. They have some humor and some advice thrown in there. There's also a good bit of information from links to research articles. These articles appear to be their main source of information for their research. I will probably take this idea, and make up most of my research of random articles I find online and on the Florida State library database website.
One thing I noticed in particular is that even though most subject in psychology are very subjective and argumentative, the Wilde Agency rarely takes sides. They mostly just present the information. This is one thing that I plan to take from them. I'll do my best to not take sides until the very end of my essay. I'll keep my research completely neutral to the best of my abilities.
There are, of course, irrelevant facts and sources and articles thrown. This is only expected of a twitter account. However, my essay is not a twitter account. I can't afford, in my research, to throw in irrelevant comments about people or ideas. I can, at the very end of my essay, give advice like the Wilde Agency does, but not to the same extent as they do. They have very direct answers to very direct questions along with scattered general advice about "how to be more persuasive in marketing situations" or "these are ways to improve your cognitive skills." I'll only be able to give a brief conclusion of what I found in my research and what I suggest for that specific claim.
