One of the genre conventions for Valentine's Day is that you have to plan something. Whether it be listening to punk rock and rebelling against the norm of being with your boyfriend or girlfriend, or it be planning a romantic afternoon with that someone special, you're making plans. Honestly the best thing from pop culture that represents Valentine's Day as a whole are the cheesy Valentine's cards. They pull from many different TV shows, movies, song lyrics, and more in order to provide the cheesiest possible flirty comments. Even if you don't have that someone special to share it with, you can always have bad Valentine's card cards with your best friend. Actually, this holiday goes so over the top with pulling memes from so many different places that seeing Valentine's Day cards at any other time of the year can easily bring anyone a cringe-worthy moment. Ever seen a heart-shaped teddy bear that says "I lawrve you" on it? CUte right? Now ever seen it during the middle of Autumn? Makes you want to cry out of shame, doesn't it? Now imagine ven worse: finding one oft those cards in the middle of Autumn. Yeah not a pretty picture anymore, is it?
