This style was chosen in order to bring back nostalgic child-like tantrums when hungry. The black and white is old. the girl's face is angry, and the text is whimsical. These stylistic choices add to the nostalgia of childhood. Mainly only pathos, but not ethos nor logos, was used in the making of this meme. It brings out the emotion that boils inside you when you are hungry. It does not need ethos or logos because it is only meant for humorous entertainment so we don't care if it is logical or if we can trust the composer. I think that this meme's overall purpose is to entertain people and make people laugh. It is also used to make people relate to it. I think that the meme is effective because it accomplishes entertainment through relating to it. But if someone does not relate to it then it will not be effective because relatability is how it entertains people.
